Cartomizer vs. Atomizer?

Tuesday, November 9, 2010 12:08:45 PM America/Los_Angeles

Cartomizer vs atomizers- which to choose? Cartomizers are a relatively new niche amongst electronic cigarettes and they carry some notable advancements compared to the old cartridge + atomizer system. With every new gadget and advancement there comes a lot of confusion and questions. Which system to prefer? When choosing your first/next electronic cigarette should you go with cartomizers or stick with atomizers and cartridges? We strongly believe that cartomizers are a handier and a more comfortable way to go.

The old atomizer + cartridge system has two separate pieces that screw together and are then screwed on to the battery. The atomizer fules the atomization process in the cartridge that contains the nicotine solution. However cartomizers are built in a way that combines the atomizer and cartridge in one piece of technology.

Some of you may be new to electronic cigarettes, and to freshly converted smokers we always reccomend to go with a product less fussier. The less you have to take care of your electronic cigarette the better...Right? Using a cartomizer only requires you to fiddle with one piece to refill your electronic cigarette. This enables you to quickly change the cartomizer, even on the go.

For those of you who are more familiar with e-cigarettes, the cartomizer offers a wider range of benefits next to quicker and easier assemble. You have probably heard and learned you can easily refill an e-cigarette cartomizer. Altgough we do not neccessarily promote refilling cartomizers, that are not ment to be refilled by manufacturer standards, we aknowledge that this is done and is quite popular.

Cartomizers are also safer as they do not overheat, whereas, when using an atomizer and a cartridge that is quite common. Althoug technology eveloves quickly overtime, a couple of years back it was a real nuisance. With the older system, you could have used the atomizer of the e-cigarette to a point that it became somewhat dangerous. As the atomizers were not meant to be replaced every so often, they frequently started to cause leakage in the cartridge. Having nicotine solution leak in your mouth, at an unexpected time, is mostdefinitely not pleasant!

Also a benefit using cartomizers over atomizer is that they offer a richer volume of smoke and more flavor so the overall vaping experience is enhanced. That has been reported by many, and we surely back it up.

So in all, that is why we see the cartomizer system as the very best way to enjoy electronic cigarettes.

Buy Electronic Cigarettes - How to Make the Choice

Wednesday, March 31, 2010 2:13:02 PM America/Los_Angeles

How to buy electronic cigarettes and where to buy them is a big question as many of the brands available on the internet are not readily available in your convenient store around the corner. You don’t always have the opportunity to hand-pick it and play around with it before you decide which electronic cigarette to buy

First of all when you start searching for your desired e-cigarette to buy do your homework! In short that means the less fuss there is with a model the better, so two-pieced e-cigarttes override a three-piece e-cigarette any time. Those of you who don’t know the basic difference of models here’s a quick crash-course. The two-pieced e-cig consists of a battery and a cartridge with a built in atomizer, so that every time the cartridge runs dry you also replace the atomizer. A three-piece e-cigarette consists of a battery and a separate cartridge and atomizer. As the atomizer is the most sensitive part of the e-cigarette it is prone to be the most unstable. So when you start the process of searching and ultimately buying an e cigarette base your choice on the principle that less is more, hence choose the two-part electronic cigarette.

When you start narrowing the list of suppliers you can buy electronic cigarettes from, and are getting closer to point, start thinking about such variables as the length of the electronic cigarette and the weight of the electronic cigarette. These are also key factors you have to think about when you buy  electronic cigarettes. Think about the fact that the length of the e-cig mainly consists of the battery. Although a longer e-cigarette has more battery-life, an e-cigarette too long is difficult to hold and might feel too heavy to even resemble an analog. If you’re at a crossroads, think about if the starter kit contains spare batteries to carry with you or if you have the chance to readily charge the battery. Choose and buy electronic cigarettes that are medium in length if you want more battery life, and if you want less weight choose a model that has spare batteries in the starter kit. The decision which electronic cigarette you eventually buy is entirely a question of taste.

When you a search and land on page after page also consider how the page looks and feels and how well you like the desing of the e-cigarette etc , how credible it feels. Would you buy your first e-cigarette from a site that has no contact information, offers no customer support and so on?...Guess not. After all, the sites you like are pretty surely liked by others as well, so it must have been invested in. A credible supplier wants to create a pleasant and convenient shopping experience when you buy the electronic cigarette. And if you feel that they have succeeded in it, then trust your instinct.

When you have rounded up the few electronic cigarette models you would be ready to buy, immerse yourself in homework once more! Do a little backround search and read reviews on forums and so on. There might be a ton of reviews but there also might be few. It depends how new the electronic cigarette brand is and if they are already established on the market. In my mind a few good reviews are better than a bunch of good and bad ones.

And when you have processed all the information turn back to your instincts and choose the one you like!

It might seem to be as a painfully long process but it really pays off when you eventually buy your first e-cigarette.
